We have a variety of volunteer opportunities to match your interest and availability for both youth and adults.

Preparing meals & snacks for our support group & partner meetings. Bringing food to these meetings allows us to create a comfortable, open space for sharing information and resources.

Processing donations - the large volume of donations we receive must be sorted and organized regularly. Creating an organized, clean display gives dignity and pride when clients shop for items.

Skills & Trades - From time to time, our facilities need updates and repairs. We appreciate any volunteer service to make these happen!

Skills to share - As clients begin rebuilding their lives, they sometimes want to learn new skills. If you are interested in sharing your talents, we would love to discuss opportunities for teaching skills to others.

The Family Crisis Center also has a volunteer Board of Directors that represent different skill sets, backgrounds, and perspectives who help provide oversight for the operation, personnel, and finances of our organization. If you're interested in serving on our Board of Directors, be sure to let us know by filling out the form at the bottom of the page.
Host a Supply Drive
If your workplace, civic club, school, or church is looking for an easy way to make a BIG impact, hosting a supply drive for the hygiene products and household goods we use at our shelters is a great idea! Below is a list of some of the most common items we are always in need of, or you can call us to find out about specific need we might have at the time of your supply drive. Some people collect goods and products over a period of time, and others collect supplies as the "admission price" for an event they are hosting. Whatever you choose to do, the victims we serve would be forever grateful for your support.

Clothes Hangers, Bath Towels, Standard Sized Pillows, Laundry Baskets, Twin & Full Size Bed Sheets, and Shower Caddies
Gift Cards for Walmart and Dillons Stores
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. After your supply drive is over, simply contact us to arrange a time to drop off the donations.
